This policy is given according to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (thereby “Regulation”) on processing personal data for those who interact and share data through the website EUSAIR Stakeholder Platform (https://www.espcommunity.eu ).
In this section you are informed on the processing operations on the personal data of users visiting this website. The information provided does not concern other online websites, pages or services that can be accessed via hyperlinks on the above websites but relate to resources outside the ESP’s domain.
The protection of individuals about the processing of personal data by the ESP is governed by Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
This website provides information about the EUSAIR Stakehoders activities and initiatives and hosts the community platform and websites . The website is ESP’s main communication tool and we try to do our best to keep the information timely, reliable and accurate at any times. If errors are brought to our attention, we will try to correct them with the least possible inconvenience.
Responsibility for processing
The ESP’s Managing Authority is the Innovation and International Cooperation Unit – Marche Region – Italy.
The data controller is the Giunta della Regione Marche (the Cabinet of the Marche Region), located in Via Gentile da Fabriano 9, IT-60125 Ancona.

Purposes of the processing and recipients of the data
EUSAIR Stakeholder Platform does not re-use the information for another purpose that is different to the one stated. The ESP puts in place measures to guarantee that your data are kept up-to-date and processed securely.
Data may be transmitted to third countries (countries which are not members of the European Union). When personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, special safeguards are foreseen to ensure that the protection travels with the data.
Your personal data and your rights
You have a right to information concerning your own personal data, as well as a right to rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, or to lodge a complaint against processing. If you believe that your rights are not observed, or not fully observed, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority to the “Garante per la protezione dei dati personali” (hereinafter “Garante”) pursuant to Article 77 of the Regulation, or else to bring a judicial proceeding against the Garante pursuant to Article 79 of the Regulation. For any requests on this matter, please contact the DPO.
- Browsing Data
The information systems and software procedures relied upon to operate this website acquire personal data as part of their standard functioning; the transmission of such data is an inherent feature of Internet communication protocols. This data category includes the IP addresses and/or the domain names of the computers and terminal equipment used by any user, the URI/URL addresses of the requested resources, the time of such requests, the method used for submitting a given request to the server, etc. These data are necessary to use web-based services and are also processed to extract statistical information on service usage (most visited pages, visitors by time/date, geographical areas of origin, etc.), as well as to check functioning of the services. Browsing data are kept for no longer than seven days and are erased immediately after being aggregated. - Newsletter/Alerts
By subscribing to our news alerts/updates you agree that the ESP may process automatically your personal data which you have provided in the subscription form to receive information that you have agreed upon. Subscriptions are powered by Mailchimp, hence you may also consider consulting their policy regarding the processing of personal data. When you register to our news alerts/updates, we save the information you provided in our database.
Personal data processed for the purpose mentioned above, will be secured until unsubscribing to our updates/alerts.
- Social Media
We use social media to present our work through contemporary channels. Our official social media channels are listed on this website. Each social media channel has their own policy on the way they process your personal data when you access their sites. Data communication
Collected data will be treated exclusively by the personnel and collaborators of Marche Region. Some data treatment operations may be done also by third parties, to whom Marche Region gives some activities, or part of them, functional to services providing. Eventual third parties, designed as external processors of data treatment, are subjected to appropriate obligations, given by Marche Region through contract or any other juridical obligation according to the EU law, on personal data protection by operative instructions, referring in particular to adoption of adequate technical and organizational measures, in accordance with art. 32 of the Regulation.
Data voluntarily provided for acceding the website or for subscribing to the newsletters can be shared among national institutions of countries belonging to the “EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR)”, for the development of initiatives and activities related to the cooperation project of which the EUSAIR Stakeholder Platform is integral part. Data conservation Personal data are treated with automatized and manual tools for the time necessary to reach the goals for which have been collected and in order to guarantee their confidentiality and safety.
